The Christchurch memorial service held today was so touching. It was attended by thousands of people, Prince William, the NZ Prime Minister, many NZ artists, the people of Christchurch and friends from all over New Zealand.
If you have missed it or want to see it again go here
There were representatives of different Faith communities saying a prayer for the people of Christchurch and the people of Japan.

The Pictures are in no particular order! Their order was entirely determined by the way the blog wants to place them! I struggled with making them neat and orderly! Sorry! They are all courtesy of the NZ TV-one on demand. (I got them from there that is! :) )
After a few days of fiddling around with the idea I feel that the brochure explaning the project is ready to publish and distribute!
I want to share it with you. What do you think? Wanna use it in your neighbourhood?Want to learn how to host an Inter-Faith Devotional meeting or just a Devotional Meeting? HAPPY TO HELP!!! Ask :)
A talk with a dear friend this morning about the idea of neighbourhood inter-faith devtions reminded me of this song of Elika Mahony with words by Amatul Baha.
What is left when in time of adversity such as the one in Japan and New Zealand recently, the world we have spent building all our life vanishes before we blink an eye?
What keeps us going? Where our strength to GO comes from? How and why do we start our life anew?! How do we get the energy to cope now, imagine, work to create a new reality?
Money is GREAT and needed for reconstruction but if we do not have Faith, we have nothing...
Enjoy the song and read the beautiful lyrics of the poem below. Then join us in person or remotely on the 22 of March (email for details) in Supplicating the All-Mighty to give all those affected by calamities Faith, courage and strength to go on...
